Tour Details

Day 1 : Meet you in Casablanca airport and drive to Fez

The beginning of your 9 Days Tour from Casablanca To Sahara Desert will start from Casablanca Airport where we will meet and collect you and go to Fez. We will pass through Rabat and Meknes cities before arriving at Fez where you will spend the night.

Day 2 : Fez Sightseeing

After breakfast in your riad, we begin the tour around Fez and visit the Mellah, which is one of the oldest ones in Morocco which was built in the 15th century. We will visit the Royal palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts, Kairaouine Mosque and University, and other things. Later you can enjoy your free time by walking through the souks.

Day 3 : Free half in Fez and drive to Midelt

while you finish the visit sightseeing of  Fez and enjoying its monuments, at 11am we will journey to Midelt and pass over Ifran City which is nicknamed the “Moroccan Switzerland” and is on the way to becoming the preferred winter sports resort of the Moroccan elite. The town also boasts Morocco’s only Anglophone University, Al Akhawayne and is an excellent base for hikers and trout fishermen, summer and winter alike. We will visit the black birds in Ifran too. Next, we will drive to Azrou and stop and see the aromatic Cedar Forest and where the Barbary macaque monkeys known as “Magots” live. Then we will follow the route along the Atlas hills and mountains. Overnight stay in Midelt.

Day 4 : Midelt - Ziz Valley – Merzouga - Camel Trek And Night In a Camp

In the morning we will travel to Merzouga via Errachidia, Ziz Valley, Erfoud and Rissani. We will pass through Tizi N’talghomt pass where we will stop to see the fantastic views of mountains, hills, Ziz Gorge, palm trees along the Ziz River and tank of oasis. Next, we will pass over Errachidia City and stop to appreciate the panoramic views of Ziz Valley and majestic palm trees. Our journey will finish up in Merzouga where you will have a glass of mint tea before your camel trek to middle sand dunes to enjoy the night under the moon and stars in traditional Berber tents and listen to the sound of drum music.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Rissani - Erfoud - Toudgha Gorges – Boumalane Dades - Dades Gorge

Morning after breakfast, the camel man will bring you back to the hotel where you can shower and have breakfast. Afterwards, we will return to Rissani where you will visit an old market which sells unique handcrafts, clothes and dates. Afterwards, we will then leave and visit the highest narrow Gorge of Morocco (GORGE TODGHA). After Gorge Todgha we will head to Bomalane Dades and discover Valley of Dades and its amazing majestic rock structure called the (“Monkeys Toes”). Overnight stay in Gorde Dades.

Day 6 : Dades Gorge - Roses Valley – Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Marrakech

During this day we will drive to Ouarzazate and pass through Skoura oasis with its authentic Kasbahs, and then Ouarzazate which is known as the “Hollywood of Desert” and of Morocco generally. Whilst sightseeing in Ouarzazate, you will see a Taourirt Kasbah which was the Kasbah of former Caid Thami El Glaoui where many movies have been filmed here at the Atlas Studios. After Ouarzazate we will drive to the fortified village, Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is under UNESCO World Heritage Site. After Ait Ben Haddou we will travel directly to Marrakesh by crossing through the bends of Tizi Ntichka in the High Atlas Mountains. After the Tizi Ntichka bends we will enter Marrakech town where our tour will finish.

Day 7 : Marrakech Sightseeing

The full day will be spent in Marrakesh City with a local guide, starting with famous square of Jamaa el Fna, which dwells an array of food, local musicians and fortune tellers. Then we will visit Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs and the Koutoubia minaret. Later you can enjoy your free time by walking through the souks. Overnight stay will be in a riad/hotel.

Day 8 : Free day in Marrakech

The eighth day will be your free day in Marrakesh so you can discover the shops and souks or just relax in the Marrakesh atmosphere.

Day 9 : Marrakesh - airport
